As 2025 draws to a close, it’s hard not to pause and take stock of everything this year has brought. It’s been a whirlwind—full of unexpected turns, quiet victories, and moments that reminded me how resilient we can be.
The Wins
This year, I finally pushed past some long-standing goals:
→ PhD Progress — Major milestones in my research projects
→ TAC Meetings — Successfully completed (phew!)
→ Conferences — Presented at Single Cell Genomics (Sweden) and DZL (Heidelberg)
→ Travel — Explored Croatia and Slovenia
The Lessons
There were challenges too — moments of doubt, loss, and the kind of fatigue that comes from a world that never seems to slow down.
But looking back, even the hard parts feel like they carved out space for growth.
2025 taught me to embrace uncertainty a little more gracefully and to celebrate small wins without waiting for perfection.
Looking Ahead to 2026
With the new year just around the corner, I’m carrying forward a sense of quiet optimism:
→ Create more
→ Worry less
→ Chase curiosity instead of checklists
→ Be kinder—to myself and others
Whatever this year held for you, I hope you’re ending it with a full heart and bright hopes for the new one.
Here’s to fresh starts, new adventures, and all the possibilities waiting in 2026!
